One of a series of four original artworks created in collaboration between Kay Gasei and Archie Proudfoot.
For this first ever collaboration between the artists Archie painted a base in his signature punchy graphic style using matte enamel paints for Kay to respond to with his freely energetic mark making and brushwork. The result has shades of the legendary collaboration between Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat; a blend of ice and fire, flat colour and texture, energy and peace - paintings that are both fast and slow simultaneously.
Signed on the reverse by both artists.
