In 2019 the Audi TT celebrated 20 years since its release. To mark the occasion Audi UK commissioned me and three other artists to create artworks centred on this classic design.

While researching for my piece I read that the original designers of the car were inspired by the Bauhaus school.

The Bauhaus is also one of my biggest influences so I was more than happy to use that as a jumping off point for the piece, implementing a classic primary colour trio for a palette, as well as designing a set of numerals from scratch to enliven the car’s original spec diagram.

The final artworks created for the anniversary were put to a public vote on the Audi UK Twitter page to see which would be crowned the overall winner. And I’m glad to report that my piece won with over half of the votes with the video below used to show it off.
